The Wild series from the manufacturer ThermTec is the current range of handheld thermal imaging cameras with the latest hardware and software that has been augmented with artificial intelligence. Various models are available, suitable for beginners to professional users.
The models differ in detector resolution, field of view width, and range; the remaining hardware and software are the same for all thermal cameras. The AMOLED screen with 1024 x 768 pixels offers HD quality resolution. The video recorder provides ample space for photos and video clips with a full 64 gigabytes of memory.
For thermal imaging detection, a VOx sensor is used, which, with a temperature sensitivity of less than 18 microkelvin, can distinguish even the smallest nuances of a heat source. New to this is also the data processing, which can generate an even better image through AI.
Focusing is particularly easy with the wheel on the top, whether in complete darkness or with gloves. Menu navigation via the mini-joystick is also a comfortable solution.
Image calibration can be done automatically or manually; in auto mode, the learning AI pre-sets the parameters. Zoom Pro is also supported by AI technology, which enables sharp and clear reproductions when digitally magnifying.
The high-quality magnesium alloy is IP67 waterproof and shockproof. In addition, the material effectively dissipates heat from the technology to the outside.
Power is supplied by a replaceable battery, which can be swapped for a charged battery within seconds. A charger + 2 batteries are included with every thermal imaging camera.
