Pulsar Merger LRF XT50 Thermal Imaging Binoculars
Artikel-Nr.: 2215
- 1024 x 768 pixel HD thermal sensor with 2.3 km range
- Binocular design for fatigue-free long-term observation
- Integrated laser rangefinder up to 1000 m (±1 m accuracy)
Fittingly
The latest Pulsar binocular model is the first thermal imaging device with a Vanadium Oxide sensor, offering HD resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. And all this with a pixel size of just 12 micrometers. This enables observations with previously unimaginable brilliance. The level of detail is so sharp and precise that the Merger has become a true specialist for identifying game, trophies, people, and all other heat sources.
A special feature, as with daytime binoculars, is the optical magnification, which allows inspection of distant targets from 2.5 to 20x. The zoom range can be adjusted continuously or in 2x increments. This results in a range of 2.3 kilometers, which can be further refined by the digital zoom of up to 8x.
The field of view of 10° results in a field of view width of almost 17.5 meters at 100 meters. The special thing about this angle is that the ratio of field of view (FOV) to magnification is optimal, enabling the best possible observation in every zoom range.
The Merger models are particularly suitable for frequent users and long sessions. The binocular format is less tiring because both hands are used to hold it. A second advantage is the use of both eyes, which becomes noticeable very quickly compared to a monocular. By using both eyes, observation is more natural, and the brain and eyes are not as strained.
Operation is via 2 centrally located rows of buttons; the respective keys are raised and thus tactile even at night. The central unit reacts immediately to touch and provides the most important functions.
The laser rangefinder (LRF) can determine objects such as a deer up to a distance of one kilometer, with a tolerance of only +- 1 meter.
Power supply is provided in 2 ways. One battery is permanently installed, and the second battery is external and can be changed at any time within seconds using the Pulsar quick-change battery system. Depending on user behavior, this results in a total operating time of 8 hours.
Photos and videos can be recorded. The video recorder can store up to 16 GB of data in the device. In addition, the current observation can be streamed live via WiFi to 4 other people. Each participant needs a smartphone or tablet and the Pulsar Stream Vision 2 App (see link below).
