The Zeiss Secacam 1 trail camera offers the ideal entry into the world of high-quality wildlife observation. With its light-sensitive sensor, 60 black LEDs, and IR-Boost technology, it delivers clear, sharp images even in complete darkness. The invisible 940 nm flash ensures that animals are not disturbed.
Thanks to an integrated LTE module with multi-roaming SIM, photos are reliably and quickly transmitted to the Zeiss Secacam App. There, images can be managed, cameras located, and content shared with other users. Optionally, premium functions such as "Color the Night," AI-powered animal detection, or the "Activity Hub" can be unlocked via Zeiss service packages.
The Secacam 1 is compatible with the Zeiss accessory ecosystem, including solar panels, power packs, and metal housings for maximum operating time and security. OTA updates keep the camera always current, while SecaTrack offers additional theft protection. Initial setup is uncomplicated: batteries and SIM are pre-installed, and registration via the activation code takes seconds. The integrated test button allows immediate control of alignment and function.
Compared to the Zeiss Secacam 3, the Secacam 1 has some differences: it does not have a front display, only offers 480p resolution for video transmission instead of HD, and differs in design. An advantage for security and protection against theft is the integrated padlock eye, which the Secacam 3 does not have.
The robust housing of the Secacam 1 is IP66 certified and reliably protects against dust, rain, and snow – for year-round use with proven Zeiss image quality.
The housing and battery magazine are compatible with the Zeiss Secacam 3 trail camera.
