Monocular Design

The thermal imaging camera stands out primarily due to its extremely compact design and excellent manufacturing quality. Additionally, the Pro version is equipped with a particularly sensitive detector that can pick up even the smallest thermal sources.

The NETD value is below 20 microkelvins, which allows for the detection of the finest temperature differences of a heat source. This could be, for example, a treetop or the remains of game, making it particularly easy for the observer to determine what kind of heat source it is.

The device is made of a high-quality magnesium alloy, which is not only extremely robust and lightweight at the same time, but also optimally dissipates the heat generated by the electronic components to the outside.

The detector has a resolution of 384 x 288 pixels and displays the image or video on a modern AMOLED screen that can render colors with exceptional vibrancy and brightness. The LEDs are also known for excellent black levels.

The 30-millimeter lens provides a field of view width of over 23 meters over a 100-meter field, with a detection range of approximately 850 meters. This makes the Axion XQ30 Pro suitable for observations at close and medium distances.

There are eight different color modes to choose from, allowing heat sources to be displayed optimally depending on the situation, ambient temperature, and vegetation. The color palette ranges from White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Rainbow, Ultramarine, Red Monochrome, Sepia to Violet.

The Wi-Fi module operates in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands to ensure optimal range and stable data transmission. In addition to connecting to smartphones and tablets, updates are also performed via Wi-Fi. The video recorder is equipped with 16 GB of memory to record photos and videos.

Power is supplied by a replaceable battery system with the APS3 battery, which has a runtime of approximately 8 hours.
