The iRay Tube TD50L combines a digitally-supported night vision riflescope with a daylight riflescope. The special feature of this model is the possible color display of the image intensifier tube.

The residual light amplifier sensor offers an extremely high resolution of 1440 x 1080 pixels with a pixel size of 16 micrometers. This top performance would hardly be feasible or affordable with the current state of technology in a thermal imager.

The lens is 50 millimeters in diameter and therefore particularly light-sensitive, making its use as a daylight scope in addition to night vision much more sensible; a second scope is therefore no longer necessary.

Detection is possible at a distance of 600 meters, and the magnification also lends itself to this, with 4x - 16x, use over long distances is one of the strengths of the TD50 L. Combination with large calibers is also possible, as the housing can safely withstand recoil up to 1000 G.

The operating time of 13 hours is made possible by 2 batteries; one is permanently installed, the second external one can be replaced at any time. The battery can be recharged via the USB port, and a USB power bank can also be used.

Since the technology is digital, it is not surprising that a video recorder with 16 gigabytes of memory is on board. A WLAN module has also been thought of, through which one to four smartphones can be controlled via WiFi to share observations.

Bad weather such as rain or snow cannot harm the housing, as it is IP67 dust and waterproof.

For optimal power supply, it is worth ordering the matching replacement battery at the same time, because the permanently installed battery should never be allowed to run completely empty. Matching chargers can be found here.
